It starts in a kitchen. A pot simmers, laughter echoes, and generations gather around a table. Stories are shared. Hands young and old prepare a meal. With each bite, hope is passed around—like the prayer card tucked into every bucket, speaking life over families we may never meet, but still deeply care about.
This is what Buckets of Hope is all about.
A bucket isn’t just a bucket. It’s empowerment. It’s a mother who gets to breathe because this month’s groceries were covered. It’s a grandmother whose pension can now go toward school shoes. It’s the freedom for a family to invest in possibility instead of survival.
Every year, we’re moved by the way our church and community show up. not out of obligation, but out of overflow. This is what it looks like to be active citizens: to give, to build, to love—because hope grows when it’s shared.
This is the story we’re writing again one bucket, one family, one shared meal at a time.
